Founded by brother-sister-team Alex and Lara Matthews, Thread has evolved into a national shopping event popping up in such cities as Seattle, Las Vegas, San Diego and San Francisco. This spring’s Bay Area event hosts 100 men’s and women’s designers, many of whom are locals—including Upper Playground, Loyal Army, True and She-Bible—offering limited-edition goods at reduced prices. We suggest spending the afternoon shopping for your new spring wares, and then soaking in the atmo’ while relaxing with your pre-dinner drinks from Absolut and Sake2Me in the cocktail lounge. Kaptain Harris and DJ Roots will be supplying the beats all day long.
