Williams
Editorial assistant Susan Williams grew up in Chattanooga, majored in journalism at the University of Georgia, studied in Avignon, France, then moved to Queensland, Australia, and traveled throughout Asia. And all of that was before moving to SF to attend the California Culinary Academy, from which she graduates this month. On meeting Union Street’s new business owners while writing “A More Perfect Union” (p. 60), Williams says, “They’re very sincere and hopeful. It made me want to support them all the more.”
