Prolific photographer, Lee Friedlander, makes a bold statement on the American social landscape through his images of everyday scenes across the country. For this retrospective, SFMOMA has pulled together nearly 400 photographs spanning life in the 1950s through the present. This exhibit features the artist's personal photo series, commercial work for magazines, album covers and fashion shoots.
