"Tales of Power" is a solo exhibition of Bay Area artist Lewis deSoto. The show displays the artist's two thematically customized automobiles as sculptures. Rather than dress up the automobile body, deSoto's work counterfeits the industrial design process, customizes identities and inhabits performative roles on the street or within the gallery environment.
