Fusion Eclectic

SCENE: An elaborate wrought-iron candelabra, red Moroccan lanterns and velvet cushions set a romantic scene, despite the noisy crowds. Book the private booth in back for groups of six or seven; if you’re dining solo, take a seat at the bar. In all, it’s a sophisticated take on casual tapas plates.
EATS: Spanish-Moroccan flavors reign, most notably the Catalan-style sautéed scallops with fava purée, crepes and persillade. The perfectly tender lamb tagine with prunes and Marcona almonds falls off the bone, while the juicy Moroccan meatballs, garnished with goat’s milk fromage blanc, are pleasantly tangy. Pair your meal with the fruity red sangria.
