SCENE: Polished young moms pushing designer strollers congregate here for wholesome lunches with the girls. Amid the din of their chatter, order from the extensive menu hanging above the slate-gray counter, then take a seat at one of several blond-wood tables in the back while your food is cooked to order.

EATS: As you’d expect, given the restaurant’s name, nearly everything on the menu is organic. The build-your-own salad is a popular lunchtime option, with a choice of greens and five toppings. Hearty sandwiches and appetizers abound, as do a few hot entrées, such as a bowl of nutty quinoa filled to the brim with sautéed veggies doused in a flavorful miso-ginger sauce. If you really want to be healthy, order an organic-fruit smoothie instead of a giant chocolate-chip cookie when you leave, though that may be a futile attempt.
