It's the age-old question: What are you doing this summer? We've got the answers—72 of them, to be precise. In each week, that gives you seven great things to do (plus a foggy-day extra) all over Northern California, from a solar eclipse viewing party at the Exploratorium to Oscar de la Renta's yearly fashion-show fundraiser in Tahoe. But you have just nine weeks—that's 63 days, 1,512 hours or 90,720 minutes—to experience it all. The clock is ticking.

Blastoff!
Week 1: June 29 to July 5
Start your summer right: From fireworks in the kitchen to fireworks in the Mission, with a stop at Cal Shakes in Orinda.

From High to Low (and Back)
Week 2: July 6 to July 12
All in one week: Allen Toussaint, the Renegade Craft Fair and Nordstrom's Fall Fashion Preview.

Allons Enfants
Week 3: July 13 to July 19
Here comes the Police! Plus, Feist and a little La Bohème in your Pocket (Opera).

Speed of Sound
Week 4: July 20 to July 26
Sommerfest on Mount Tam, riding high in Pebble Beach and Coldplay at the HP Pavilion.

Row, Row, Row Your Kayak
Week 5: July 27 to August 2
It's that time again: Oscar returns to Tahoe, the tall ships sail through the Golden Gate and your starlight paddle awaits.

Born to Run
Week 6: August 3 to August 9
This week, you can go long (the SF Marathon) or short (the SF Shorts Film Fest) ... your call.

Here Comes Freddy
Week 7: August 10 to August 16
Covet antique roadsters, learn to surf in Bolinas—or just settle in for a midnight showing of (gulp) Nightmare on Elm Street.

Victory Gardens
Week 8: August 17 to August 23
Put some sizzle in the dog days with the Indy Grand Prix of Sonoma or a night at AsiaSF. Plus, the Edible Gardens Festival at COPIA.

Flaming Trips
Week 9: August24 to August 31
The last gasp of summer: drive-in movies, oysters at Nick's Cove and, of course, Burning Man!
