Union Square’s reputation as the city’s shopping, dining and entertainment center has only grown, and, Mayor Gavin Newsom has unleashed Wi-Fi on the Square, the first step in his plan to provide the entire city with free Internet access.

Your Visa’s getting a workout, but you’re the one who needs to unwind: Go for an organic-mint mojito at everyone’s favorite dive bar, the Tunnel Top.
